Devon’s reception was gorgeous.  Crystal chandeliers dripped from the ceiling and fabric draping covered the custom built tent.  A carpet floor was set on a foundation, covering the tennis court.  Fabric flowed from the head table and all the chairs.  Napkin rings were created by Vintage & Vogue.  A vintage lounge look that Devon picked out and bought just for her wedding, was inset into a pop out space.    The details were immaculate.  All of this was the backdrop to our florals.

With the design created and the flowers in mind…we dropped the chandeliers over some of the guest tables and the head table.  Dendrobium orchids and spray roses were wired into the low chandeliers.  Below those tables, were floating flowers in crystal vases and floating candles.

Our second centerpiece design was a signature design created by Asiel, to reflect on the curvaceous nature of a woman’s body wearing layers and layers of pearls and jewels.  Set on the vase was dripping luscious flowers that had a garden romance to them.

Our third style centerpiece was a custom stand made of chandelier crystals to match the chandeliers.  Vintage Glamour is all about crystals, pearls, cut glass, feathers and light.  Each element was brought into the design.

When we have several tables {over 18}, we prefer to have three separate style centerpieces.  This keeps the guests entertained as they enjoy the details and it changes the expected flow of the room.

Our over sized mirrors were set around the room to open up the space.  They reflected the chandeliers in the room doubling the impression they brought.

To see more on this wedding, hit “older posts” at the base of this post.  A gorgeous ceremony goes hand in hand with the reception.

Although this vintage glamour style is not for every bride, it was perfect for Devon’s vision.  She looked like she belonged in another era.

About Asiel Design

We believe design begins with a relationship of trust with your wedding planner and event designer. When choosing an event designer or a wedding coordinator, we believe that you should feel listened to, understood, and guided through the process in a way, which helps you achieve a look and feel that is personalized to your style. There should be a connection with the designer’s work, esthetic, and a comfort-ability with the professionalism of the company they represent. Mutual respect between the client and the wedding coordinator or event designer is the foundation to a successfully designed event. We believe it is the client who holds all the secrets to their design – what they like, what excites them, and the message and experience they desire to convey throughout their event.
