classic opulence | PALACE HOTEL, SF

Melissa & Kevin got married at the famed Palace Hotel in San Francisco. They decided to have an intimate guest count but opulent décor. We decided to achieve this look by playing off of the Palace Hotel’s grandiose architectural features. We used our popular Lion Stands for some of the centerpieces and to flank the sweetheart table. They fit in quite well and looked as if they were made for this hotel. Our stand’s ornate gold wrought iron played off of the gold trim on the walls. We also used our tall candelabras to line their ceremony isle. These isle pieces held large florals that would later be moved into the reception area to become their centerpieces once the ceremony concluded.

For florals we kept the palate to a soft white with touches of champaign and ivory. This created an opulent classic look, which also worked well at the Palace with their ornate features.

I love the way this wedding was photographed. It is always nice when a photographer can take a bride and groom on their wedding day and turn it into a photo shoot. Great job Tinywater!! Also check out this wedding as it was featured on Junebug Weddings as well.

About Asiel Design

We believe design begins with a relationship of trust with your wedding planner and event designer. When choosing an event designer or a wedding coordinator, we believe that you should feel listened to, understood, and guided through the process in a way, which helps you achieve a look and feel that is personalized to your style. There should be a connection with the designer’s work, esthetic, and a comfort-ability with the professionalism of the company they represent. Mutual respect between the client and the wedding coordinator or event designer is the foundation to a successfully designed event. We believe it is the client who holds all the secrets to their design – what they like, what excites them, and the message and experience they desire to convey throughout their event.
