jennifer & stephen | CLIFT HOTEL

I have always thought that designing at the Clift Hotel in San Francisco seemed so effortless. It’s modern and sophisticated and as an event designer it’s nice because it’s already so well designed. For this reason we recommended the Clift to Grace Ormonde magazine for the last round of San Francisco based photo shoots.
We also had the privilege to work with Jennifer and Stephen for their wedding at this famed location. We always keep the venue’s décor in mind while designing florals for a wedding. For this reason we ended up using our chandelier stands for centerpieces, which echoed the Clift’s chandeliers in the reception area. We also used mercury vessels at the reception. Mercury vases tend to work well with both modern and old world looks, and this wedding is no exception.
Probably my favorite detail in this wedding was the pictures that were wired into Jennifer’s bouquet. I thought it was a great way to remember and honor loved ones. It also really personalized her bouquet, which I always think is a good thing.

 As always, Tinywater Photography did a great job capturing this event. Caroline (from Tinywater) was really able to capture this couples unique style and what may be the happiest day in their life. And who knows, maybe one day Jennifer and Stephen’s picture might be wired into a future descendant’s bridal bouquet.
