A couple of years ago Style Me pretty asked Michelle of MB Wedding Designsto participate in a photo shoot. Michelle then asked us to partner with her on the shoot entitled “Love Letters.” It was a narrative story of a girl that was awaiting her love and only able to communicate through letters. The mood was expectant, excited and sometimes lonely, waiting to finally be reunited with the one that she loved.
We decided to shoot at our warehouse in San Jose. Linnae and I created a set and Michelle was in charge of stylizing the event elements and the model. We created florals for the set and used our wrought iron estate gates as a backdrop. I used to be an antique dealer so we utilized old statuary, wrought iron and other antique design elements we had lying around. Linnae wanted to make it feel like and outdoor garden indoors and so we added a moss covering to the base of our set.
Michelle was instrumental in stylizing the set with antique frames, perfume bottles, and old letters.

In the end I am not sure if our bride was ever reunited with her groom to be.. but at least we got a photo shoot out of it.

About Asiel Design

We believe design begins with a relationship of trust with your wedding planner and event designer. When choosing an event designer or a wedding coordinator, we believe that you should feel listened to, understood, and guided through the process in a way, which helps you achieve a look and feel that is personalized to your style. There should be a connection with the designer’s work, esthetic, and a comfort-ability with the professionalism of the company they represent. Mutual respect between the client and the wedding coordinator or event designer is the foundation to a successfully designed event. We believe it is the client who holds all the secrets to their design – what they like, what excites them, and the message and experience they desire to convey throughout their event.
