kendal + chris | SOLAGE, CALISTOGA

What could one say about a wedding that speaks so eloquently on its own? Lavenders, whites, golds, and pinks set an astonishingly romantic tone for Soraia and Ali’s wedding and an awe to the invited eye. Following Soraya and Ali from the Presidential Suite, to playing a game of pool, and laughing side by side, Soraia stated on the Grace Ormond Wedding Style website that, “The wedding was the most blissful and euphoric day ever”.

There were many moving parts in collaboration for such an elegant ceremony and reception held at the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel. Wildflower linens, Taleen from Simple Little Details, and Evonne and Darron from U Me Us Studios, to name a few, were paramount assets to the entire event design. The aisle, lined with vases, turned upside down and topped with candles brought the ceremony a dramatic effect. The end of the aisle was garnished with hydrangea and Ecuadorian roses on top of our freestanding plexiglas pedestals, which were then moved to the reception to flank the head table.

The reception carried through into the Venetian Room. One of the main focal points, if not ‘the’ main focal point, was the pink draped sweetheart table, the piece in which our hydrangea and rose assortments propped upon our plexiglas pedestals were flanked. The sweetheart table dressed with a vintage lounge for Soraia and Ali to sit on and an overabundance of candles as a finished touch to their focal point, was as equally dramatic as the ceremony aisle. The dinner tables were decorated with our elegant chandelier stands with the continuation of the hydrangea and pink roses which were enhanced by the pink linens finished and complimented with our mercury votives. The couple finished their night with traditional dances and much laughter.

About Asiel Design

We believe design begins with a relationship of trust with your wedding planner and event designer. When choosing an event designer or a wedding coordinator, we believe that you should feel listened to, understood, and guided through the process in a way, which helps you achieve a look and feel that is personalized to your style. There should be a connection with the designer’s work, esthetic, and a comfort-ability with the professionalism of the company they represent. Mutual respect between the client and the wedding coordinator or event designer is the foundation to a successfully designed event. We believe it is the client who holds all the secrets to their design – what they like, what excites them, and the message and experience they desire to convey throughout their event.
