Casa Real has an incredible staff that is devoted to Event Excellence.  Coupled with being a fabulous venue that offers value without compromising class, it’s no wonder that Casa Real is one of the Tri Valley’s most popular event venues.

Casa Real has two great ceremony options and most couples utilize one or the other. The Amber Room is very popular for those that want an indoor setting. This room takes candlelight very well and as you may have expected, amber up-lights are a perfect fit. Most couples that get married in this room do so in front of the fireplace. The venue will allow floral and candle embellishments in glass vases to be added the fireplace, and this room exudes a romantic ambiance when it is lit well. Also old world wrought iron candelabras plays nicely off of the mission inspired architecture.

For the couples that want an outdoor ceremony, the courtyard allows for a beautiful setting. Couples often get married in front the grand stationary trellis, which is often covered in greenery. On many occasions we have hung glass globes and fabric from the trellis and it always adds a nice focal point to get married in front of. On the opposite site of the trellis, there is a large wall fountain that makes a great ceremony backdrop. Small isle décor pieces add a nice touch to each of these ceremony locations.

The Grand Salon is the room where most receptions take place; it’s a space that really allows for any kind of design as long as it is designed well. Many of our clients have chosen a mixture of vintage and glamour décor that is accented with modern design elements. Crystals, feathers, lush flowers and mercury vessels are all natural fits at in this ballroom.

Many couples also decide to add sections of fabric drape or candle walls to the ballroom, especially if the sweetheart table is positioned on the wall with the exit doors. Because of the positioning of the reception to the ceremony location, Casa Real is an incredible venue that allows you to reuse ceremony décor at the reception. Reusing flowers and décor items need to be thought out ahead of time, and can only add value, for example, items can be transferred during the cocktail hour.

At Casa Real, only a handful of lighting companies are able to work with the event lighting additions within the ceiling framework. These companies include; Enhanced Lighting, Impact Lighting and Fantasy Sound.

Adding crystal chandeliers in clusters over the dance floor is a popular option as is adding event lighting. It’s our personal preference to use incandescent lighting in this space (not LED lights) for up lights. A soft amber color is recommended to achieve a romantic/ candlelit look. The venue provides a lighting package with up-lights for the ballroom and a candlelight package, which adds up to a great value. Pin spotting centerpieces is a great idea in this location as the venue has a ceiling framework that can virtually hit any centerpiece that is used.

There are a lot of colors that work well with the ballroom, as the beige walls are pretty neutral. Many of our clients tend to choose blush pinks, off whites and slightly muted colors within the space. Upgrading linens at this venue is recommended as it adds to the décor and will be noticed in the space because the ballroom lets in a lot of daylight.
